A PhD Candidate at Rutgers University School of Social Work, Shannon Cheung is a socially conscious researcher dedicated to conducting rigorous research to understabd pressing social issues at the cross-sections of oppression, interpersonal violence, and technology. They have experience in using both qualitative and quantitative approaches and have published in Journal of Interpersonal Violence, Ethnicity & Health, and Children and Youth Services Review.Research interests: technology-mediated violence and harassment; sexuality and gender minorities; racial trauma; and online safety.
